Cheryl J. Kagan

Cheryl J. Kagan Public Relations was established in 1998 after Kagan spent 17 years at the esteemed Rogers and Cowan PR in Los Angeles as Executive Vice President of Entertainment. Clients at CJKPR included Las Vegas headliners Terry Fator, Wayne Newton, Lance Burton and Murray Sawchuck, actors Bruce Boxleitner, Dee Wallace, Steve Railsback and Loni Anderson, and opera star Denyce Graves. CJKPR also handled the 30th anniversary celebrations of “We Are The World” and “Hands Across America,” the Shriners’ Hospital for Children concerts, “Salute to the Troops,” Parent TV Council’s concert with Kenny G, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s annual celebrity dinner and golf event and Children of the Night.  During her tenure at R&C Kagan worked with Hugh Grant, Michael Chiklis, Siegfried and Roy, Cybill Shepherd, William Shatner and Kenny Rogers. Kagan also worked on the television series Moonlighting and Miami Vice, and the White House Charity Dinner.

Kagan’s diversified background includes Client Relations at ABC-TV News and Sports in New York, and Manager of Casting and Talent at NBC-TV.  She worked on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show as well as numerous television movies and mini-series. At ABC-TV she coordinated events for the Winter Olympics, Monday Night Football, boxing, the Indy 500, The World Series, the Kentucky Derby and various news conventions.

Ms. Kagan has served on the Board of Women In Film and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and produced the local and international Emmy® Awards. She is a member of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and The Paley Center for Media. Ms. Kagan has been interviewed on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and The Today Show, as well as local broadcasts in New York and Los Angeles.
