Roz Wolf is a veteran Hollywood publicist. She began her public relations career in entertainment at Rogers & Cowan in Los Angeles. Working with mentors Warren Cowan, and respected film music publicist, Ronni Chasen, Wolf was trained in all aspects of motion picture publicity and entertainment PR. Wolf evolved into an entertainment specialist in social media, branding, image building and media relationships.
Film campaigns marked her early career, working on Oscar(R) winners Driving Miss Daisy and Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt. In the 1990s and 2000’s Wolf worked as a freelance consultant with Rogers & Cowan and other Hollywood-based publicity firms.
Wolf is currently the director of publicity for the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival, (LAJFF.org) a position she has held since 2009. Films and filmmakers have benefited from well-placed feature articles, full festival round-up stories, Los Angeles TV and Radio segments and coverage from top photo wire services. Many of the major news outlet that have been eager to cover LAJFF’s Opening Night Gala and spate of LA premiere screening events include: network affiliates KNBC and KCBS, KCRW, KTLA, the New York Times, the LA Times, LA Weekly and LA Daily News, the LA Jewish Journal, Jerusalem Post, IndieWire.com, Monsters & Critics and Parade.com, to name just a few.
Additionally, Wolf has worked with Kitty Bruce, daughter of Lenny Bruce since 2016 as Communications Director for The Lenny Bruce Memorial Foundation (lennybruce.org/foundation).
