Welcome to the GreenLight Women Now e-blast!
This is where you’ll find the latest news about what’s going on within our organization and with our individual members.

Here’s what the current week looks like...

Just last month, GreenLight Women was featured in an article in The Hollywood Reporter which announced the election of our new president, Iris Grossman. The article generated a great deal of interest in GreenLight Women and resulted in a sizable increase in membership applications.

Once again, we are collecting donations for our favorite charity, Alexandria House, a transitional residence and house of hospitality that provides safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelters to economic stability and permanent housing. We have set up a link on our website greenlightwomen.org where you can make a contribution (or click here to make a donation now (with a suggested minimum of $5)). It’s a small way to make a big difference in the lives of some very deserving women.

Every Sunday at noon, GreenLight Women Board Member Tessa Bell leads us in a members-only Zoom chat that helps keeps us connected and sane during these difficult times. Please check it out and meet your GreenLight sisters.

Watch your e-mail for the link.

GreenLight Women Board Member Kimberly Ogletree leads this inspiring series of talks about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as part of our ongoing effort to make a conscious and active commitment to the recognition and equality of all our members. As chair of the Diversity Committee, Kimberly has been responsible for bringing some of the most successful and enlightening events to our organization, including two major celebrations of Black History Month and our Town Hall Zoom meetings -- I SEE YOU, I HEAR YOU, ARE YOU LISTENING? -- featuring directors Neema Barnette, Julie Dash, and Dr. Brenda Wade.
